Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and company policies.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Experience in supervising or managing kitchen teams is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Culinary qualifications or certifications

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and an eagerness to learn within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of food items under the guidance of chefs and cooks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Help with the organisation of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Support chefs during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as needed.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed.

Experience:
